Requirements Engineer / Platform Configurator Fintech (80-100%)

JAROWA AG is a young and dynamic Fintech company whose success is based on a unique digital B2B platform business model. We digitise the orders of insurance companies, real estate management companies and other organisations. For example, insurance companies can use our platform to quickly help customers with damage at home and organise high-quality trades people from their area for prompt repairs.

 

JAROWA went live with the first service in Switzerland at the end of Q1 2018 and in this short time our platform has been able to establish itself as the market standard and is continuously growing. Today we have operations in Switzerland, Germany & the UK. To extend our UK operations, we are looking for a Platform Configurator to join our UK Team.

 

 

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Work together with the users of the platform (insurance companies and service providers), continuous development and improvement of the functionalities
  • Design of processes to enhance the business model
  • Contribution of own ideas for the further development of the platform
  • Specification of system functionalities and interface to the development team
  • Configuration of system adjustments and workflows in the system
  • Preparation and execution of tests (esp. UATs)
  • Support and collaboration in 1st and 2nd level support and user trainings

 

Your experience/skills

  • Knowledge of how insurance companies and service providers work and what is important to them
  • 2-3 years of professional experience in the development of specifications
  • Experience with functional testing (UAT, preparation and execution)
  • Knowledge of Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence) and other collaboration tools.
  • Experience in programming/configuration with JSON or JavaScript
  • Ability to grasp complex issues and break them down into logical units
  • Team player with high initiative, conscientious, and enjoys dealing with uncertainty
  • English (native speaker)
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, business informatics or equivalent
